VOLUME 6

BULGARIA: Pray for RICH WITMER and four Bulgarian crop farmers who are traveling back to Bulgaria today. The Bulgarian crop farmers traveled to Indiana for a farmer exhange program. The farm exchange was an opportunity for the Bulgarian farmers to learn about modern agriculture technology and for the American farmers to build relationships with the Bulgarian farmers. Helping the farmers in this way allows Rick to open ministry opportunities with them in the future. Pray this trip was fruitful for both Rick and Bulgarian farmers and that their relationship will continue to grow as they return to Bulgaria.

RUSSIA: Pray for JANYNE JOHNSTON as she helps a group of Chinese students study the Bible every week. Many of these students come from a Buddhist background. As far as Janyne is aware none of the students are yet believers, but they return every week to study the Bible with Janyne. Pray Janyne will be led by the Lord in what to say to the students and that the students will choose to accept Jesus as their Savior.

GUINEA: DAWN ANDERSON recently traveled eleven hours away to attend a Community Health Education/Evangelism Conference. Traveling with Dawn were two women and their two toddlers from Dawn’s village. The toddlers needed hernia surgery and when they started the journey Dawn was not sure whether the children would be able to have the surgery due to the surgeon’s full schedule. Praise God as the toddlers were able to have the surgery and are now recovering! Pray for Dawn, the women and  toddlers as they begin to travel home today.

SERBIA: PETE and URSULA HUBLEY invite you to join them in praying with and for their local church in Sombor, Serbia.  The church in Sombor has an annual outreach to youth in the summer. They conduct an “English Camp” for the youth to learn English and also about the Bible. To prepare for the English Camp the leadership of the church is fasting and praying every Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in the United States beginning Thursday, May 17. Please join with the Sombor church in praying for the youth in Serbia to come to know Christ.

UNITED STATES: Pray for BILL and DEBBIE JONES as they continue to meet individually with students from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, who live locally. These students have taken the Breaking Free 101 course and want to “go deeper” in the study. Pray each time the Jones’ and the students meet the Holy Spirit would guide the discussion and make it “count for eternity” in our lives as disciples. Also pray for Bill as he prepares “discipleship teaching modules” for the next Fall and Spring semesters at Bethel College. Pray the Spirit would allow Bill to concentrate and be creative as he prepares.

SOUTHEAST ASIA: Pray for a STAFF MEMBER who has started discipling a girl in AWANA. The girl has expressed faith in Christ, but the staff person would like to see her grow deeper in her understanding. Please pray for the girl and her parents who are not believers. Also pray for the staff as she disciples this girl and her mother.

MONGOLIA: Pray for World Partners Director DAVE MANN and World Partners Media Coordinator MICHAEL REYNOLDS as they are in Mongolia May 15 -25.
